I'm currently looking for a talented Site Engineer with expertise in tunnelling to contribute to a prestigious nuclear project in Bridgwater. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing tunnelling activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate tunnelling activities on-site, including excavation, lining, and support systems installation.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain high construction standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to optimise project delivery.
• Implement safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to site personnel as needed.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in tunnelling projects, preferably within the nuclear or large-scale infrastructure sector.
• Strong understanding of tunnelling methods, equipment, and materials.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
