Full time Bar Manager required to join our independently owned village gastropub with rooms.

As Bar Manager you will need previous experience in maintaining a cellar and running a bar/restaurant service and have great people skills with both customers and colleagues. You must be passionate about all areas of bar service including hot drinks and have a keen eye for detail, work well within a team and maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene at all times. 

The main purpose of the position is to assist the General Manager in leading and developing the team in day to day service; ensuring every customer receives “the best customer experience” through setting the highest standards of bar service, cleanliness, bar offer and perfect serve presentation. Ultimately build at customer relationships and loyalty.

This position would suit anyone living in the Saffron Walden, Royston, Stansted or Bishops Stortford area (and surrounding villages) with their own transport.
