We are looking for a Head of Engineering that is passionate about best practice, enjoys coaching and mentoring managers and has a keen interest in AI Analytics.

One of the UKs top AI Analytics SaaS platforms is looking for a Head of Engineering. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will be given the freedom to make your mark not only on the team but the direction of the product. The challenge

• Coaching & Managing managers
• Improve best practice & process to deliver quality driven software products
• Help migrate Data Warehouse to the cloud
• Shape the technical direction of the SaaS platform
• Work closely with Stakeholders and customer to advance market share
• Create a high performing environment, driven by quality
• Maintain a culture of learning and enjoyment

You (Ideal experience, not essential

• Managed managers across multiple product teams
• Technical understanding of PHP \ GO based cloud platforms (You don’t need to be able to code)
• Migrated Data Warehouses to the Cloud (Interest in Data driven products)
• Technical understanding of AWS
• Driven improvements in process and technical quality
• Interested in the commercial aspect of a product as well as technical strategy

With a HQ in Manchester, this position is Hybrid with the team currently meeting once a week. There will be occasional travel to sites in the South (“Down South” as the Mancs would call it).

Salary: 90,000 – 100,000 + benefits
