Atrium Recruitment is excited to represent our client, a leading material testing company, in their search for a dedicated Finance & Payroll Administrator. This role is based in Leicester and is working alongside the Management Accountant & Payroll Manager.
 
Main Duties:
·Process, check, and code invoices accurately.
·Establish and manage new supplier accounts and maintain details for existing accounts.
·Reconcile supplier statements and address outstanding queries.
·Identify and resolve issues promptly through phone or written communication with internal staff and external suppliers.
·Support the accounts team as needed.
·Assist the payroll manager during payroll periods, taking charge of two payrolls and learning to manage all six end-to-end payroll processes.
·Handle payroll queries from colleagues.
·Generate payroll and ad-hoc reports as required.
·Update the HR system with payroll changes.
·Administer pension schemes, including Nest Pension Schemes.
·Manage benefits administration, ensuring accurate payroll deductions for the Tech Scheme, Cycle to Work Scheme, and Car Maintenance Scheme.
·Reconcile payroll figures with accounts.
·Provide support to the HR team when necessary.
·Perform additional duties as required.

·Maintain a professional and positive image as the first point of contact by phone.
·Be a proactive member of the operations team and foster teamwork.
·Follow office policies and practices diligently.
·Comply with company procedures related to quality and health & safety.
 
Education & Training:
·Comprehensive training on all in-house systems and processes will be provided.
 
Knowledge & Experience:
·Prior experience in a purchase ledger role is essential.
·At least two years of payroll experience is preferred.
·Strong written and verbal communication skills.
·High attention to detail and accuracy.
·Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
·Proactive and able to work on own initiative.
·Numeracy and literacy skills.
·Proficient in IT, particularly in Excel with skills in v-lookups and pivot tables.
 
Days & Hours of Work:
·Monday to Friday
·40 hours per week
