Job Title: Design Engineer

My client a leading manufacturer based in the Gloucester area is looking for a Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. Operating within a technical engineering environment with tight deadlines and changing demands. 

Responsibilities - Design Engineer 

• Designing and detailing of hydraulic components
• Producing technical documentation to support designs
• Undertaking hand calculations to support designs
• Creating bills of materials

Required Skills/experience - Design Engineer 

• Mechanical engineering experience ideally with knowledge of hydraulics
• Highly competent in 3D modelling using Solidworks
• Hands background within design and manufacturing
• Ideally apprentice trained and/or educated to HNC/HND level
