As a driver at Veolia, we will train you to complete your recycling and waste collection rounds safely and effectively. Your typical day starts and ends at your local depot, where you will pick up any special instructions and check your vehicle.

What will you be doing?

  • Driving to planned collection locations.
  • Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook.
  • Ensuring all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily.
  • Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including security and weight of loads.
  • Ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up.



What are we looking for?

  • Class 2 (Cat C) licence and some previous driving experience. If you're newly qualified, we also want to hear from you.
  • Up to date CPC / digi card - Don't have one? We can support you here.
  • A can do attitude and strong time management skills are also key.
  • Being a team player is key to ensure our collections run smoothly.
