An international company who manufacture complexed systems used for navigation are looking to recruit a Test Technician to provide comprehensive testing of electro mechanical products. If you have Test experience including RF, can fault find, rework and assemble electro mechanical products then this great company with excellent benefits could be your ideal next career move.

Duties:

• Testing, faultfinding, rework and assembly of electro mechanical equipment.
• Work from detailed procedures, drawings, documents, change notes and schematics
• Soldering & unsoldering, wiring & crimping, drilling, filing & cutting, detailed rework of printed circuit assemblies, and application of mastic & adhesives
• Using a variety of tools and equipment necessary to complete tasks including Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, and Power supplies
• Check and inspect own work and work of others, including proactive troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Participate with the creation of SOPs and test documentation etc.
• Raise defect reports.
• Utilise the company business data management system.
• Create and work in a team environment
• Implementing continuous improvements, confirm to 5S and Health & Safety standards.
• Ensure work is carried out to the highest quality.

Skills:

• Experience of working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience of RF testing, faultfinding, rework and assembly
• PC literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Experience of working in a cellular manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
• Radar knowledge would be an advantage.
• Must have an analytical approach to problem solving with strong numeracy and literacy skills
• Due to the nature of the business you will be required to be a British Citizen with 5 years traceable history.
