Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join their dynamic team in Darlington. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects within the process and process safety department of a leading engineering firm.
  
You will design process components supporting principal and lead process engineers, lead smaller projects and provide process engineering support for liquefied gases.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure technical integrity of designs
• Produce and check design deliverables on time and to budget
• Develop process schemes and operating/control philosophies
• Prepare process documents (design basis, descriptions, philosophies, schedules, procedures)
• Maintain heat and material balances using Hysys software
• Perform process equipment sizing calculations
• Lead and coordinate design reviews, report findings, and resolve issues

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering
• Extensive experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries
• Familiar with project phases from conceptual study to commissioning and operation
• Proficient with process design software (Hysys) and process simulation
• Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and practices
• Ability to plan and deliver work to agreed timescales
