Elevate your career by joining our professional Train Presentation Team in the Yorkshire region, where you play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the teams at Sheffield and Doncaster Stations and Holbeck Depots (35-40 staff members between team leaders and other train presentation operative) to ensure the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of trains for passengers’ service. About the Role: As a Train Presentation Supervisor, you'll be at the helm, leading and mentoring a dedicated team of Train Cleaners. Your mission: to uphold impeccable cleanliness standards within the industry. Your tasks will include:

  • Supervise and lead the Train presentation teams at Sheffield and Doncaster Stations and Holbeck Depot. Provide guidance, support, and motivation to ensure a consistent and efficient working environment.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities among the team, ensuring each member understands their role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the trains.
  • Ensuring staff members meet high standards of cleanliness and presentation by conducting regular inspections of trains. Ensure compliance with established cleanliness protocols and safety standards.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development.
  • Oversee the stock of cleaning supplies and equipment. Ensure that the team has the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively. Manage resources and budgets for the 3 teams.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to train cleanliness or presentation promptly. Investigate and respond to passenger feedback or complaints regarding the condition of trains.
  • Maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

A valid driving licence is required for this role, as the candidate selected would have to drive a company Van to Sheffield, Doncaster and Holbeck Depots!

The Successful Candidate: We're on the lookout for an individual who will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for passengers by leading a dedicated team and ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures. While Team Leading experience is a plus, we welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in operational and facilities management or similar fields.

Requirements: You're punctual, dependable, and available to work day and night shifts, on a roster pattern that includes weekdays and weekends. Overtime opportunities may be available.

Rate of Pay:

  • Every hour worked: £16.80 p/h.
