Pay Range: £140 - £240 per day

Hours: Full-Time, 8:30 – 15.30

Job Description:

GSL Education is seeking a passionate and dynamic Secondary Dance Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Manchester, M9. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-energy dance lessons and inspire students through the art of dance. Whether you're an experienced Dance educator or a passionate Early Career Teacher, we welcome you to apply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic and engaging dance lessons to secondary school students
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive dance curriculum that caters to the diverse needs of students
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity
  • Organize and direct school dance productions, performances, and extracurricular activities
  • Deliver dynamic Dance lessons that inspire students and foster their artistic growth

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching dance at the secondary level
  • Strong knowledge of various dance styles and effective teaching practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
