Job Description:
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years and Childhood Studies Graduate to join a primary school in Burnage, M19. This role is perfect for recent graduates who are eager to gain valuable experience in early years education or are wanting to gain a career in teaching in the future and make a positive impact on young children's lives.
Key Responsibilities for the Early Years and Childhood Studies Graduate in Burnage, M19:
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities for young children
- Support the development of children’s social, emotional, and cognitive skills
- Create a safe and nurturing environment that encourages learning and development
- Work closely with early years practitioners to support individual learning needs
- Observe and record children’s progress
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Uphold and follow the policies of the school.
Requirements Early Years and Childhood Studies Graduatein Burnage, M19:
- A degree in Early Years, Childhood Studies, or a related field.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
- Previous experience in an early years setting is desirable but not essential
