EARTHWORKS SITE MANAGER
Black Book Resourcing LTD, specialists in groundworks and civil engineering recruitment, is offering a freelance Site Manager role for a bulk earthworks project on a new build residential site in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. This long-term position requires at least two years of earthworks experience.

This is an ongoing contract paying betweem £250.00 - £350.00 per day depending on experience. 

Earthworks Site Manager Responsibilities:

  • Direct management of labor, including excavators, ADTs, and dozers.
  • Supervision and oversight of the project direction to meet client specifications and review progress.
  • Coordination to ensure health and safety compliance.
  • Completion of site paperwork.
  • Problem-solving and risk assessment.
  • Issuing permits.

Earthworks Site Manager Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years' experience as a Site Manager in earthworks projects ideally working for a specialist eathworks contractor
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and manage the workforce.
  • High work ethic and ability to address challenges proactively.
  • Must provide at least two references to confirm capabilities.

Earthworks Site Manager Qualifications:

  • CSCS Card.
  • SMSTS/SSSTS preferred, ideally SMSTS.
  • CPCS/NPORS certifications.
