I'm aiding a large Tier 2 contractor that have gained a solid reputation across a range of sectors in their search for a Setting out Engineer with experience within S278/Highways to join their team in Milton Keynes. They have operated throughout the UK for the last 6 decades within the Rail , Highways and construction industry and due to a large influx of work , they are now looking to add a Junior and Senior Setting out engineer to their team.

Responsible for the setting out, levelling and surveying the site. To set out detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring that checks are made on a regular basis.

Some of your responsibilities are listed but not limited to:

• To receive all drawings and information and set out sites in accordance with same.
• To provide all necessary as built drawings and information
• To plot information from and to survey equipment
• To keep measuring equipment in a suitable condition for accurate measurement.

Key skills that are required:

• Setting out
• CAD Drawings
• IT and supervisory Skills
• Problem solving and Traffic Management
