Our client is looking for a live in Retirement Scheme Manager based in Exeter -
Overview
RTM Company Directors are looking for a Residential Development Manager (RDM) is to manage their retirement block for independent living.
The development was built in 2000 and consists of 61 flats. It boasts a communal lounge, laundry room, guest suite, library, kitchen and garden.
Key Requirements
The main responsibility of the RDM is to make sure that the development is a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents. This includes the preservation and recording of all statutory and regulatory requirements.
The RDM will take pride in making sure the building is managed safely, high standards are consistently maintained and exceptional customer service is always delivered.
They will positively engage and communicate with the RTM Directors of the development.
The RDM will be required to establish a good understanding of the lease(s) of the residents. The RDM will be required to discuss relevant matters from a position of knowledge in reminding leaseholders of the terms and conditions they have signed and agreed to when becoming residents.
Responsibilities do not include providing nursing care to residents. Maintaining professional boundaries is an important aspect of the job role.
