Expleo are seeking a skill process engineer to support a major UK OEM in the North East.

Working within the power-train and castings plant.

  • Support planning and introduction of new products / processes. Develop & manage current production processes / functions to improve Quality, Cost & Time in line with annual objectives. Precise, flexible and with a strong work ethic, will work closely within casting in supporting Power-train Engineering, Production, QA and Production Control departments to ensure supply of products to both internal and external customers.
    • Plan and deliver new product launches on schedule and to budget.
    • Develop & manage current production processes / functions to improve Quality, Cost & Time in line with annual objectives.
    • Support Installation and buy-off support of new facilities.
    • Creation and management of project schedules
    • Ongoing Quality Control and process capability improvements
    • Implement innovative ideas to improve Quality, Cost and Time (Delivery)
    • Support productivity ideas and review machine concepts.
    • Application of problem-solving tools to find and fix the root cause of process issues.
    • Working with Facility Engineers to create specifications of new and modified facilities to be installed on machining production lines.

  • Engineering Degree with experience of high-volume machining/manufacturing or HNC together with substantial experience in either machining/manufacturing or Casting experience preferred.
