Test Engineer Contract| PyTest
£400 - £625 per day (Outside IR35)
3 months – possibility of extension
Wiltshire (Hybrid)
We are working with our client in Advanced Engineering technology, who are seeking a Test Contract Engineer using PyTest to help with their automated testing system.
The testing ranges from simulation of radio protocol messages, transactions and control of a hardware testing rig.

Your Responsibilities:
- Use PyTest for supporting the testing of Python Script
- Support a team of test engineers in running automated system testing
- Verification & Validation of test systems
- Devise acceptance test algorithms.
- Write scripts to generate test reports, including RAG test status.
Experience Requirements:
- Expert experience in PyTest and Python
- Understanding of docker containers
- Understanding of control of hardware peripherals and cards
- Understanding of GIT, GitLab or Jenkins
Rate and working arrangement:
- £400 - £625 per day OUTSIDE IR35.
- Role able to be worked remotely, but there will be requirements to travel on-site to the Wiltshire area.
- 3-month contract could extend.
