Are you a seasoned AWS expert with a passion for building robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure? We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Engineer to join a dynamic start-up which is pioneering the future of digital asset trading by leveraging advanced technology and deep market expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable AWS infrastructure tailored to meet diverse product team needs.
• Choose the most suitable AWS services for each task, ensuring secure and efficient configurations.
• Manage and monitor AWS resources to guarantee high availability and peak performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise within the AWS infrastructure.
• Stay abreast of the latest AWS services and best practices, sharing knowledge and insights with the engineering team.
• Work closely with other engineers to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Maintain a solid grasp of the OSI model and its application within AWS environments.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS.
• Proven track record in start-ups or in spearheading AWS environment development from scratch.
• Deep knowledge of EC2, S3, IAM, AWS SSO/Identity Center, AWS Organizations, VPC (including DirectConnect), and more.
• Proficiency in Python, tooling is written in this language.
• Strong experience with Linux server administration, including kernel and network tuning.
• Thorough understanding of the OSI model.
• Ability to manage your workload independently and efficiently.
• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pulumi Experience: Familiarity with Pulumi for infrastructure as code.
• CI/CD Knowledge: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically GitLab CI.
• Observability Stack: Experience with the LGTM stack (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir) for comprehensive observability.
