Salary: c£90k basic plus competitive package inc car or allowance, health, pension, performance bonus etc.

Company & Project: A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor operating in the Commercial, Residential, Science, Healthcare and Mixed-Use sectors, are looking to recruit an experienced and talented Planning Manager to lead the planning function across their business.

Project pipeline includes multiple New Build and Refurbishment projects to c£20m in single value, the majority of which are 2-stage projects.

Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for the planning function within the business including working within the pre-construction phase, liaising closely with operational staff managing the planning, programming and progress control of live projects, liaising with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.

This candidate should have an excellent knowledge of ASTA PowerProject and be fully conversant with producing cost and resource loaded programmes.

The ideal candidate will have good client facing experience in addition to first rate communication and analytical skills.


Desirable Experience:

• Demonstrable experience with project planning on construction projects c£10m+
• 10 years+ experience with main contractors in pure planning roles.
• Strong track record on a range of projects - desirable experience within Science, Healthcare or Commercial sectors.
• Good working knowledge of ASTA PowerProject.
• Previous Roles: Planning Manager OR Senior Planner OR Project Planner Or Senior Planning Manager OR Planner OR Site Planner.

Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or comparable qualification.
