Behaviour Buddy: Stockport

Milk Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Buddy to work in a Primary School in Stockport on a long-term basis, starting September.

Your roles and responsibilities as a Behaviour Buddy:

* Educate and engage children with special educational needs, focusing on promoting positive behaviour and social interaction
* Support children in developing appropriate communication skills
* Provide one-on-one guidance and supervision during activities
* Help create a safe and inclusive environment for all children
* Assist with daily routines, including personal care if required

Non-negotiables for a Behaviour Buddy:

* Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Patience, empathy and the ability to build rapport with children
* Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team
