We are currently seeking a Science Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Wolverhampton.

*** £375 - £425 per week
*** ‘Outstanding’ secondary school, Wolverhampton
*** 1:1 and small group support in science KS3 & KS4
 
As a Science Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the science department to support the teaching and learning of science to students. You will assist with lesson preparation, set up and clear away of equipment, and support students during experiments and practical work. You will also provide one-to-one or small group support to students who need extra help to understand scientific concepts.
 
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a science-related subject and experience working with young people in a school or similar setting. You should have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team and have a passion for science and teaching.
