We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Operative for works in the water engineering industry.
- Flexible working hours and paid business travel throughout the UK.
- Our client are a water engineering and drilling specialist, specialising in water wells, geothermal drilling, and water supply boreholes.
- Technical certification in mechanical engineering is preferred but 4 years experience in mechanical works could be considered, min of 2 years mechanical maintenance is ideal.
- Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions including confined spaces and outdoors.
- Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy equipment.
- Willingness to travel and stay on-site as required.
- Company Van and Fuel Card provided.
