SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking six compassionate and enthusiastic individuals to fill 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant positions for the upcoming academic year at our friendly and well-resourced primary school! The roles are offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become a permanent position at the school.
We have several 1:1 positions available, supporting children in Reception, KS1, and KS2. These roles will involve assisting children with Complex ASD, Visual and Hearing Impairments, as well as Developmental and Speech & Language Delays.
Ideal candidates will:
- Hold a level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools or relevant qualification.
- Have strong experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis.
- Have experience of supporting SEN (Complex ASD, Visual & Hearing impairments, Developmental & Speech & Language Delay).
- Be a strong team player who can collaborate effectively with other staff and follow the direction of the class teacher.
- Have knowledge of maintaining, updating, and reviewing progress of EHCPS.
- Understand Makaton, PECS, BSL.
- Have knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.
