Quantity Surveyor

Location: Hybrid/Office based, Wood Green with occasional travel to site when required

Ideal Experience: 2-5 years in building envelope or related sectors

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000

Job Details:

• Join a dynamic commercial team working closely with an estimator and a senior QS/commercial manager
• Engage in diverse projects across the UK, covering a variety of industrial and commercial sectors
• Take responsibility for the preparation and management of accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports
• Oversee procurement processes, including the negotiation and administration of contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their requirements are met and exceeded
• Conduct site visits as required to oversee project progress and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
• Prepare detailed reports on project status, costs, and performance for senior management review

Key Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience, ideally with a subcontractor in the building envelope sector
• Strong industrial experience
• Must be able to showcase and provide a reference who can advocate; you as someone who is proactive, driven, eager to learn, initiativetaking, and personable
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with construction contracts and relevant legislation
