Product Support Technician

Are you looking for a role that can offer you the chance to develop your skills within Engineering? This role will be key to the design and build of new products and you will be the person that helps brings these designs to life, introducing the new product to the production teams, getting real time feedback to deliver to the Designers and Engineers to action improvements before final build.
This position is permanent, working a day shift with early finishes on a Friday and offering up to £25,500 DOE.
The responsibilities for the successful Product Support Technician will be:
- Assist with problem-solving for the production team
- Improve lean processes across the business
- Look at existing production methods and action improvements
- Review data to identify jobs to action
- Training production operatives in the use of jigs and fixtures.
- Helping the production team with the development of products
- Working with the Design and Engineering teams to help assist with the product design and build.
- Experience within Electrical manufacturing or have recently finished studying within this industry.
- A can-do attitude
- Great communication skills and have the ability to liaise with internals and external stakeholders
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Qualifications within Engineering/ electronics would be advantageous
