Our client is a leading development company specialising in residential and commercial projects across Cheltenham and the surrounding areas. With a commitment to quality and innovation, we are seeking a dedicated Electrical Improver to join our dynamic team and support our qualified electricians on various projects.

Job Description:

As an Electrical Improver you will assist our qualified electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. Your role will involve:

  • Assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties.
  • Supporting the team in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Conducting basic inspections and testing of electrical systems under supervision.
  • Helping troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
  • Ensuring tools and materials are prepared and available for the job.
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Part-qualified electrician or currently working towards an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and installations.
  • Familiarity with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic hand tools (advantageous).
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred).
