Exciting opportunity to work at a university campus situated in Brighton. CBW are currently recruiting for an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to cover a commercial campus. Reporting to M&E Estates Manager on site, the successful candidate will be mechanically biased (C&G or NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This is an ongoing permanent role and offers a yearly salary of £40,000 based on qualifications and experience.
Key duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor mechanical plant
- Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
- Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
- Monitor the BMS systems.
- Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
- General building fabric
- Escort specialist subcontractors
Hours of work
- Monday to Friday - 08:00 - 17:00

Requirements
- Mechanically qualified - City & Guilds Level 3
- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled
- Good communication skills
