Acorn by Synergie are recruiting Delivery Driver Installers and Drivers Mate Installers (Cat B) for their clients Distribution Operation in Knottingley / Wakefield

What will the role involve?

• Deliver a set number of packages to customers, and where applicable install the delivered goods at the customers (Installation experience is a plus but not required as full training is provided)
• Ability to maneuver packages up to 38 kg
• Operate an electronic device for GPS and daily records
• Full training and induction will be provided and you'll work within a highly supportive team.

What are we looking for?

• Self Employed (candidate must have own liability insurance)
• Must have Driving experience
• You will need a UK or EU Driving Licence (You must have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence)
• Must be over the age of 25
• Hard-working, motivated and great at working in a fast-paced environment
• Part of the interview / onboarding process Will include a criminal background check and 5 point drug and alcohol testing
• Must be within commutable distance of the site, if using centre van as these remain on site overnight

As a Delivery Driver/Drivers mate (Cat B) Driver, our client offers:

• £13 per hour - Self Employed - Fully paid training days
• Van,Tools and uniform provided
• 9 hour planned Delivery Route
• Weekly pay
• Full induction and training with a supportive team once you're on the road.
• Minimum of 3 shifts per week, 1 of which must fall on Saturday or Sunday
