£153 - £211/day PAYE, WEEKLY PAY

Supply Heroes are looking for a full-time SEND Class teacher in a special school to join a vibrant and friendly primary school in Handsworth, Birmingham. The ideal candidate will be passionate about SEND and making a positive diffference to children and families with additional SEND needs in the school and community. This is a full-time Class Teacher role where you will work with smaller class sizes and have a supportive team around you. Each class is assigned a minimum of one Teaching Assistant who will work alongside you. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Smaller class sizes with a supportive team
  • Supporting students' social and emotional development
  • Identifying students who may need additional support and connecting them with the resources they need
  • Working effectively with other teachers, administrators, and support staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experience of teaching in EYFS/KS1
  • Confident with teaching phonics
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about teaching
  • Creative and innovative in their teaching methods
  • Able to build positive relationships with students
  • A team player who is willing to collaborate with others
  • A good communicator who is able to explain concepts clearly
  • Flexible and adaptable to the pupils needs
  • Have a teaching qualification to teach in the UK
