Masterclass Education are working closely with a Specialist Setting that are looking for Support Workers to help students achieve their goals and aspirations.

Our specialist team are currently looking for dedicated, reliable, and willing candidates to place within the vacancy.

Within this role you will be supporting students in a residential setting attached to the school. You are expected to support and encourage students with their independence and help develop core life skills. You will need to be able to build a strong and a trusting relationship.

Direct experience working within schools or care settings is not required however it is preferred; inexperienced candidates will be considered dependant on transferrable skills.

Masterclass Education provide CPD recognised online training, covering subjects such as Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, Understanding Child Development, Violence Reduction, and more, to all our candidates.

The ideal candidate would need to start as soon as they can.

Job role:

• To support the children’s progress across all areas of their development
• Support and encourage positive behaviour management
• Work 1:1 with students as well as in small groups
• Ensure a safe and secure environment enabling pupils to feel relaxed and happy
• To establish positive relationships with children and staff within the school and residential setting
• To be committed to inclusive practice and making sure every child has the chance to be the best they can be
