A finance role where you can mix things up a bit and get involved in lots of different areas of the business!

Full Time – Hybrid working – 2 /3 days based in the office, 2/3 days at home.

As Assistant Accountant you are qualified to a minimum of level 4 AAT or CIMA, or you might be someone who has past experience that gives you the credibility to that level.

You will be joining a distribution business based in the Midlands who are part of a stable globally backed group, working in close knit collaborative and supportive team environment where you can share ideas.

Are you a bit of a whizz on excel at home with manipulating data?

You will know your way around accounting packages, you will need to know your way around SAP to be able to hit the ground running here.

As Assistant Accountant you will work closely with your new boss to complete month end processes.

All the usual accounts tasks will be expected of you:

• Sales Ledger

• Purchase Ledger

• Nominal Ledger
• Credit control
• Conducting credit checks

• Monitoring Accounts Inbox

Your new boss the Business Controller also oversees, HR & Health & Safety so as her right-hand person you may be called upon to get involved in more than just finance, but variety is the spice of life... Right?

The company has had a fantastic last few year and heavily invested in new products and new team members.

The sales team here have been busy with new customers and large contracts coming to fruition, and the accounts team will have a larger workload than before which is why they need you, and with their 2024 plans looking even more profitable this is the place to be.

You will be rewarded with a salary of up to £34,000 with a hybrid working pattern, company bonus scheme and 21 days holiday plus stats (rising with each year of service)

Working hours are between 8:30am-5pm with a half an hour lunch break.
