For the successful Field Service Engineer our client is offering:

• £15.00 p/hour + overtime (approx. £50,000 with overtime rate)
• Hours of Work Monday to Thursday 0730 - 1615, Friday 0730 - 1200 
• Permanent 
• 25 Days holiday per year
• Overtime Rates

The role – Field Service Engineer :

• In-house fitting and assembly of various types of distribution and power transformers
• Carry out the installation of transformers at client site
• Carry out the refurbishment of transformers
• Test transformers and equipment 
• Read and work to schematic drawings 
• Offer good service to clients whilst working on-site 

What our client is looking for in a Field Service Engineer :

• Hands-on experience of working within a mechanical/electrical engineering environment - ESSENTIAL
• Testing knowledge of either Transformers and/or switchgear - ESSENTIAL
• HNC or equivalent - DESIREABLE
• Full Driver License - ESSENTIAL 
• Any site based qualifications like: PASMA, IPAF - DESIREABLE
• Mechanical/Electrical qualification is essential - ESSENTIAL 
• Must be willing to work away from home
