They provide a medium-secure care setting, offering a broad range of therapeutic interventions, including one-to-one and group-based psychological treatments. The team is dedicated to helping patients progress safely and efficiently to lower-security and community settings. You will be caring for male and female patients with diverse diagnoses such as autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, mental illness, and personality disorder. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and treatments, including structured risk assessments and interventions.
• Facilitate one-to-one and group-based therapy sessions.
• Implement specialist psychological interventions following NICE and best practice guidelines.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team efforts to promote a psychologically informed approach.
• Engage in trauma-informed practices, staff training, reflective practice, and service development.
• Supervise and mentor aspiring psychologists and trainees.

Qualifications and Skills:

• HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
• Enthusiastic and motivated with experience in forensic, clinical, or counselling psychology.
• Experience with complex patients in secure settings is advantageous.
• Applications from newly qualified psychologists or those awaiting qualification are welcome.
• Open to part-time or flexible working arrangements.
