Are you a SEN TA looking for a new post near Havant, Hampshire for September 2024? We are currently supporting a fantastic secondary school near Havant, Hampshire in the quest to find an experienced SEN TA ready for the new academic year. Our partner secondary school is a school that has a positive outlook on SEND and has great things in place to offer inclusive education for all. The ideal SEN TA will be someone who can support children with sensory impairment, speech and language, attention and concentration difficulties.

SEN TA Responsibilities:

  • Work towards and support the school's responsibility to safeguard students
  • Assist with the development of Individual Education/Care Plans
  • To support class teachers deliver safe engaging lessons
  • To undertake record keeping/sharing in respect of student learning, behaviour and progress
  • Support with pupil-specific needs
  • Attend department meetings
  • Commute to Havant, Hampshire Monday to Friday full time.

SEN TA Requirements:

  • Share our school's passion for working as a team.
  • Have experience in SEND particularly sensory impairment, speech and language, attention and concentration difficulties.
  • Have experience in record keeping and Education/Care Plans
  • Commute to Havant, Hampshire Monday to Friday full time.
  • Good IT skills
  • Experience in working with young people aged 11 - 16.
