HSE Manager

Salary/Rate:
£55,000 - £60,000/annum

M-Tec Engineering is working with a major 1st tier automotive supplier who is looking to take on a HSE Manager at their midlands based facility.

As a HSE Manager  you will be responsible for providing all policies, practices and operations for the Health, Safety and Environmental functions within the company.

Further duties will include:

*Implementation of policies, procedures and systems to provide a safe and secure business operation.

*Maintain a review programme for each site with a goal of continual improvement in housekeeping.

*Continued maintenance of OHSAS 18001/(phone number removed) and ISO 14001 Management Systems.

*Maintain procedures that ensure that contractors, suppliers, consultants and other visitors comply with relevant company’s policies.

*Lead in house training with managers and employees about HSE issues and risks, as well as participating in new employee inductions and other HSE training initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have the following experiences and qualifications:

*NEBOSH qualified.

*5 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment.

*NVQ Level 3 qualified or equivalent
