Registered Manager £40 000 per annum
Full time 40 hrs
Our client is looking for an experienced Registered Manager for a family rund care home.
Care, compassion, competence, communication, courage and commitment, constitute the driving force for their range of services covering long term Nursing, Dementia, Palliative, End of Life and Respite care. Kindness, comfort and respect for their residents as well as upholding their dignity and safety is of utmost importance to the client.
- NVQ 5 or equivalent
- Medication trained and competent in all medication related administration
- Previous management experience working with elderly residents with dementia and also have experience working with individuals who may exhibit behaviours that challenge.
- Safeguarding
- Mentor staff and provide clear and consistent leadership
- Staff meetings/team building/guidance/direction/co-ordinate training.
- Care plan risk assessments
- Audits
- You will need experience dealing with healthcare professionals and external agencies
- Play a leading part to ensure the ongoing financial viability of the service.
- Help ensure maximum occupancy for the service
