Mixer- Biggleswade- Temporary to Permanent

Brook Street are proud to be representing a well-established client in the Biggleswade area who are seeking a hard working Mixer to join their team in the powder room. The successful candidate will be responsible for blending various powder ingredients according to specified formulas and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to strict hygiene protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure and mix powder ingredients according to specific formulas and production schedules.
• Operate mixing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all mixtures meet quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure the consistency and quality of mixes.
• Record batch details and any deviations from standard procedures.
• Report any quality issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of mixing equipment.
• Adhere to maintenance schedules and promptly report any equipment issues.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience with powder mixing equipment is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and formulas precisely.
• Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 25kg.
• Standing and walking for extended periods in a powder room environment.

Benefits:

Monday to Friday 8:00am-16:30pm

£11.44ph while training (3 weeks) then increasing to £13.04ph

x1 15-minute break and 30-minute lunch break
