General Builder (Multi-Trade)

Role Overview:

My clients continued growth has provided them with an exciting opportunity to add new General Builders to the team who are multi-trade based. This role will be predominantly working as part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team helping to deliver home renovation and extension projects.

To be successful in achieving this position you will be required to have experience completing:

  • Groundworks & drainage
  • Block work
  • Insulating, boarding & plastering.
  • Rendering
  • Structural Alterations using steelwork.
  • Landscaping projects
  • Construction of extensions
  • 1st Fix Carpentry i.e. Studwork, structural floors, roof framing
  • 2nd Fix Carpentry i.e. Timber flooring, hanging doors, installing skirting architraves and window boards
  • Tiling and grouting
  • Decoration
  • Have appropriate transport to get materials on way to site

This is a varied role with fast-pace, you will need to think on your feet, problem solve but is also fun and a friendly environment. The industry never stands still and throughout that constant movement they guarantee a support network that offers an experienced and focused team that enables everyone to achieve their goals.

Benefits for self employed:

  • Self employed rate £170per day
  • Employed £30-34k salary depending on experience
  • 39 hour working week
  • Business Mileage

You Need:

  • Full clean UK driving license
  • Own set of tools
  • Own vehicle (preferably a van)
