Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school setting in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The Role:
- Working alongside the class teacher, you will provide one-to-one support to a child with ASD.
- You will create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that caters to the child's individual needs.
- You will implement strategies to help the child develop their social, communication, and academic skills.
- You will collaborate with the SENCO, teachers, and parents to ensure a consistent and holistic approach to the child's education.
- You will maintain clear and concise records of the child's progress.
You will be:
- A patient, enthusiastic, and reliable individual with a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
- Qualified as a Teaching Assistant (TA) or possess relevant experience working with children with ASD.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with the child, parents, and colleagues.
- A strong understanding of ASD and relevant teaching strategies.
- Passionate about creating inclusive learning environments.
- Highly organised and possess a meticulous approach to record keeping.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
