Lab Technician

7am – 4pm or 8am – 5pm
Our client requires a technician to join their team on an initial temporary basis with a view to full time employment.
Working within the materials testing division of a leading UK provider of testing services this is very much a hands on role and will involve the preparation of materials for despatch to the testing laboratory:
You will put materials into relevant packaging
- Sort samples into separate bags
- Produce labels
- Weigh sample bags
- Place in required despatch area
- Materials being handled would include - soils, aggregate, concrete etc
Full training will be provided for this role but applicants will need to demonstrate attention to detail, willingness to learn and a stable work history.
Opportunities for role / career development will certainly be available if desired.
Some lifting is required so applicants should have a good degree of general physical fitness.
Interviews will held with shortlisted applicants before this role commences.
