Purple Mango Education have partnered with an exceptional school in Manchester that are currently going through a period of development and growth and as such are looking for Teaching Assistants to support students at all levels.

The successful Teaching Assistants will individual and groups of students to enable access to learning contributing to the development of a purposeful and nurturing school and learning environment. The role will be working with  students of various ages (11-16) across a multiple of subjects.  
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to students, nurturing their academic, emotional, and social development.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and other support staff to implement individualised strategies.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment where all students feel valued, respected, and empowered.
• Utilise a variety of creative and engaging techniques to facilitate learning and promote student progress.
• Offer guidance and encouragement to students facing challenges, empowering them to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children or young people, either in a school setting or similar environment.
• A genuine passion for supporting students within education.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
• Patience, empathy, and resilience in the face of challenges, with a proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
• Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
