AK Teaching is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to cover maternity leave at a primary school in Leeds. This temporary position offers a great opportunity to join a dynamic teaching team and make a meaningful impact on young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to Year 2 students, ensuring all students are challenged and supported.
• Assess and support student learning and development through regular evaluations and feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress and development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum.
• Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies, promoting a respectful and focused classroom atmosphere.
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities as required.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Year 2.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
• Commitment to maintaining high educational standards.
