We’re looking for a Senior C&I Engineer to join an established design, engineering and construction company team based in the Manchester area.

What does the C&I Engineer job involve? 
C&I design from concept to completion as required by the project.
Prepare/review instrument engineering deliverables including instrument datasheets, loop diagrams, cable schedules, IO schedules, instrument schedules, block cable diagrams, single line diagrams, profibus architectures, IS calculations.
Co-ordinate with process, piping and electrical disciplines to prepare instrument datasheets for purchase.
Prepare enquiry scopes of work and technical specifications for C&I installations, motor control centres, PLC/DCS control systems and environmental monitoring systems.
Review vendor documents for technical compliance.
Provide input to project bids and work scopes as required.

What skills and experience do you need? 
Comprehensive experience in EC&I design and overseeing the delivery of the full project lifecycle.
Experience operating in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
Knowledge of hazardous area equipment selection and installation design requirements.
Degree-qualified in Control and Instrument Engineering, HNC minimum.
Chartered Engineer or actively working towards a professional registration.
Understanding pharmaceutical clean room equipment selection and installation design requirements.
Knowledge of safety-related calculations and providing input to safety reviews - HAZOP, LOPA and SIL assessments. 
Preferably Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Amtech/Trimble working knowledge.

What are the pay and benefits?
£55K-£60K per annum
