Coded Welder

BS 4872-1 Ideally have at least 1 year as a minimum remaining on the certificate.

Our manufacturing client based in Romsey are looking for a Coded Welder to join their busy team.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a company who offer great training and development.

Job Description

The primary role of the Fabricator will involve the fabrication of pipes via various techniques. A background in metal or plastic fabrication techniques would be ideal but candidates without experience can be trained.

Key Responsibilities.  

• Reading and understanding engineering drawings for company specifications
• Working from engineering drawings to construct, Steel pipe spools, plastic Tanks and Vessels, plastic pipe assemblies
• Create and use template and jigs.
• Fabricate, assemble, form reshape, rework and repair Stainless Steel, Carbon and Plastic products.
• Mark out pipes and sheets using measuring and marking tooling.
• Carry out weld inspection and testing.

Ideal Skills & Experience

• The ideal candidate will be coded to BS 4872-1 and have at least 1 year as a minimum remaining on the certificate.
• Previous metal and / or plastic welding experience

Salary/Hours/Benefits 

• £31000 - 41000 - 39 Hours per week which includes Overtime paid at Time 1/3  - when busy to work an extra 5 hours per week.

• 7.00 - 17.00 Monday to Thursday, 13.00 finish on Fridays 

• Bonuses paid out 1-2 times per year (based on company performance)
