Role Overview:

We are looking for a passionate Science teacher to teach KS3 and KS4 students, delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire a love for science. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering lessons that cater to the diverse abilities of students, ensuring they achieve excellent academic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver effective Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support.
  • Prepare students for exams and coursework, ensuring they are well-prepared and confident.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum and share best practices.
  • Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Science or a related subject.
  • Proven experience teaching Science at the KS3 and KS4 levels.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.
