Red Sky Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a prestigious Global Tier 1 Main Contractor, seeking a talented Project Planner to join our dynamic team in London.

Job Role:

Support the Project Manager by:

• Developing and updating multi-disciplinary programmes.
• Integrating programme activities with relevant dependencies.
• Cost loading and providing accurate Earned Value parameters.
• Preparing look-ahead programmes and weekly work plans.
• Analysing and tracking programme float paths.
• Reporting programme progress and impacts of change events.
• Providing scenario planning and supporting contract communications.
• Ensuring compliance with NEC4 contract requirements.
• Managing subcontractor programme acceptance/rejection.
• Maintaining a tracker for key milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce regular reports as required.
• Collect and update site progress data.
• Utilise Primavera P6 and other software for cost loading and earned value management.
• Adapt programme sequences to reflect project methodologies.
• Maintain a documented programme change log.
• Prepare forward-looking programme fragnets using Microsoft Project.
• Deputise for the Lead Planner and attend site meetings.
• Conduct periodic site visits and liaise with project departments.
• Provide programme support to Package Managers.

Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications & Training

• Relevant experience with reputable Tier 1/ Tier 2 contractors.
• Proficient in ASTA Powerproject, Primavera, and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Educated to HND/HNC level or equivalent in construction or related discipline.
• Membership in a relevant professional body.
• Extensive experience in planning, cost, and resource loading using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Functional knowledge of the NEC4 suite of contracts.
• Proficient in using Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint for programme presentation.
