The Client

Our client is one of the UK’s leading water industry contractors supplying staff to Water Companies throughout the UK. They are continuing to grow and due to its success, they are looking for keen individuals who want to work in a fast growing and dynamic company.

The Role

Our client are looking for a talented Leakage Detection Trainer to develop and deliver training programs focused on detecting and mitigating water leakage in various settings. The Leakage Detection Trainer will play a crucial role in equipping water management professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify and address leaks effectively, thereby reducing water loss and promoting conservation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive training materials and curriculum on leakage detection techniques, tools, and best practices.
  • Deliver engaging and informative training sessions to water utility staff, engineers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct hands-on workshops and demonstrations to enhance participants' practical skills in leakage detection and repair.
  • Hands on site training.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to leakage detection and prevention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to customise training programs based on specific client needs and objectives.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback mechanisms, and continuously improve training content and delivery methods accordingly.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in leakage detection and water loss management, preferably in a utility or consulting environment.
  • Proficiency in using leakage detection equipment and software tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and training program design.
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
