BDS are currently recruiting for a Housing Scheme Manager for our client in Droylsden.

This is a part time post working 25 hours Monday to Friday on a temporary ongoing basis to start asap. The service covers 2 sites, a mile apart from each other

Pay £14 PAYE or £17.26 via Umbrella

You will have previous experience working as a Housing Scheme Manager or have worked in Social Housing, Supported or Independent Living. You must be self-motivated, have a “can do” attitude and work as part of a team to produce high quality results. 

The main role is to provide daily communication with the residents, who live independently within the Scheme, and you will be responsible for assessing resident’s daily needs, completing support plans and sign posting information.

You will also report repairs and complete Health and Safety Checks and be in charge of the running of the Scheme as a whole and will need to deliver a constant high service at all times.

Managing voids and lettings, ensuring the scheme is maintained and being responsible for resident engagement and involvement.

Core duties:

  • Speaking with the residents daily
  • Signposting information on other services, in and around the area.
  • Checking the property for any repairs and reporting these as required,
  • Overseeing the service to ensure the smooth running.
  • Involving the residents in activities within the service
  • Health and safety checks and fire alarm panel checks,

A driver with access to a car is essential
