Pay Rate: £30000 - £46525 per annum
GSL Education Lincolnshire is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join an outstanding school in Bourne. This full-time role starts in September and runs until Christmas, providing a unique chance to inspire and educate young minds in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and innovative Geography lessons that captivate students' interest and promote learning.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the Geography curriculum is comprehensive, coherent, and continuously improving.
- Participate actively in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills with a focus on creating a safe and productive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service.
- A commitment to fostering student achievement and well-being.
