Syntech Recruitment are currently working with a long standing client who are looking for Vac Forming Operators for their facility in Bracknell.

Duties and Responsibilities

• A VAC Operator produces parts according to established parameters/drawings and specifications.
• The operator will perform daily pre-shift checks on our VAC forming machines.
• The VAC forming machines mould thermoplastic sheets into plastic products by placing the sheet on top of the mould, positioning sealing frame around the sheet, starts the machine that heats the sheet, draws it in to the mould to form the product, with cool air to harden the product. Then trim excessive moulding material from the products using a guillotine or bandsaw.
• Some perform inspections of industrial machines and work areas.
• Daily running of vac machines
• Operating industrial machinery
• Manual handling and lifting
• Have an understanding of drawings
