Exciting Opportunity for a Humanities Teacher in Croydon!

Are you a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher? We are seeking an inspiring Humanities Teacher to join our dynamic secondary school for boys and girls in Croydon. This is a fantastic chance to make a significant impact on students' academic journey in a supportive and vibrant environment.

Humanities Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Teach Geography at Key Stage 3 and History at Key Stage 4.
  • Develop and deliver engaging and stimulating lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to promote academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Humanities curriculum and share best practices.
  • Support extracurricular activities related to Humanities subjects.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.

Humanities Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in teaching Humanities subjects at the secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Geography and History.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to student achievement.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
